The Department of Criminology and Forensic Science is relatively a new department, established recently from the academic year 2014 presently headed by Mr. B. Francis Devasahayam. It has an updated analytical curriculum according to the need of the present stake holders; the syllabus is designed to meet the changing crime trends and to provide the required platform for progressive procedures dealing with both the conventional and contemporary crime studies.
The department has a well-equipped laboratory. It holds a group of students from different nations catering to their individual academic need. It also aims to organize developmental programs in academia, in future.
