The Placement Cell strives to achieve excellent placement of students each year. Placement Cell aims at developing the overall personality and competency of the students. PLACEMENT
The placement Cell co-ordinated the Thomson Reuters training in Financial Markets
Thomson Reuters Corporation is a Multinational Mass-Media and Information Company. Thomson Reuters was ranked as Canada’s “leading corporate brand” in the 2010 Inter-brand Best Canadian Brands ranking. Thomson Reuters operates in more than 100 countries, and has more than 60,000 employees around the world. TR works in various sectors such as Financial, Risk Management Solutions, Intellectual Property, Legal, Pharmacy & Life Sciences, Reuters News Agency, Tax & Accounting, Scholarly & Scientific Research.
Thomson Reuters as its CSR initiative along with GTT and NASSCOM foundation skilled the our 51 final year B.Com and BBM students for 100 hrs by corporate certified trainers and skill development partners for better career opportunities in financial markets and included personal-mentoring and grooming the trainee beneficiaries. The training bridged the gap between campus and corporate which was useful, informative and enhanced their knowledge in financial analysis.
