Hindi Workshop
A one day Participative workshop for Hindi Lecturers was organised on 23rd September 2017 in Association with Mysore University Hindi Lecturer’s Association (R) .
The stage was occupied by cheif guest Sri Mahendra Munoth, AHindi premi, Social worker, Gosamrakshak, Manavatavadi), Dr.M.Channabasavegowda, Principal, Mahanai’s Womens College,Dr.Shalivahana B Kollure, Asst Prof, Maharani’s Womens college, Dr.Basavaraj K Baraker, Asst Prof, Maharaja College, Dr. Vasudev shetty,
Asst Prof, Yuvaraja’s College and Dr. Poornima Umesh
The Workshop was sheduled in three sessions. Workshop started with Invocation song and Lighting the lamp. Dr.Poornima Umesh, Hod Dept of Hindi, Welcomed the gatherig. Cheif Guest Sri Mahendra Munoth
addressed the gathering and spoke about Significance of Litrature, Kamadenu (Cow) and River Ganga, which are in Extreme Impasse. Various issues related to syllabus update, New litrature’s intorduction to
syllabus, MCQ’s in Assisments, Classroom Assesment learning, Modern assesment practice, Professional judgement on Assisment, Interpreting marks and many more effective discussions took place.
Sri Mahendra Munoth introduced a sacred award “Premchand Adarsh Shikshak Rajya Samman”a State level award with cash prise Rs.5000/- and the same has been awarded to Dr.Shalivahan B Kollure. Meanwhile “
Jnanapeeth se puraskruth hindi sahityakar” by Dr. Shalivahana B Kollure and “Gadya Pratibha” by Dr.Basavaraj K Baraker , Two books were released.
Dr. Jayaprakash, Asst Prof Yuvaraja college, Latha N.Sarode,Asst Prof, Maharani Commere college, Sri E. Lingaraju,Asst Prof Govt College, Mandya, Smt Rekha Agarwal, Asst Prof, Vidyavikas, Sri Balram,
Asst Prof, Govt College, Hunsur, Miss Reshma, St. Joseph college, many more lecturers, Reserach scholers and students of Post Graduation and Under Graduation participated in the workshop.
The programme ended by Valedictory function and Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Poornima Umesh, Dept of Hindi.
