Venue: Indoor Stadium, St Philomena’s College

CHESS COMPETITON:

The Sports Department of St. Philomena’s College conducted the chess competition on 23^rd of November 2022 at college Indoor Stadium. This competition was conducted as a part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration of the college. Twenty-two boys and four girls in total Twenty-six students participated in the competition. 

The organising committee consisted of Mr. Vidhyadhar Sanjay Nair Vice principal, Mr. Muralidhara K R Physical director and Ms Peria Nayagammal.S S Physical director. The teachers In-charge for the event were Ms Malini B M Assistant Professor Department of commerce, Ms Jenifer Priya Assistant Professor Department of English and Dr Vinod Gubbiveeranna Assistant Professor Department of Mass communication B.Voc (PG).

The prizes in the Women’s Category was bagged by
