Pool Drive by 1 Cubes

The Career Guidance and Placement Cell at St. Philomena’s College, headed by the Placement Officer Ms. Farha M., collaborated with 1cubes to conduct a Pool Drive on February 1st, 2023. The drive was held in the Auditorium from 9.30 am to 12.30 p.m. for 2023 graduating students and was assisted by Mr. Dominic, a member of the Placement Cell.

Over 70 graduates from about 8 colleges participated in the drive. The recruitment process began with a pre-placement talk by Mr. Pawan followed by two rounds of interviews, including a group discussion and an HR round. Students were divided into two groups for group discussion and were given ‘Pros and Cons of Social Media’ as topic for discussion. The students were tested for their communication skills by Mr. Pawan and Ms. Nandini from 1 Cubes during the discussion.The students actively participated in the discussion and were able to put forth their opinions on Social Media.

The recruitment drive was a huge success, and the Career Guidance and Placement Cell received positive feedback from both the participating candidates and 1cubes.

The following 17 students were shortlisted for the technical round.

The drive provided an excellent opportunity for the graduates to showcase their skills and for 1cubes to identify potential hires.
