Exhibition on “Robotized Gadgets ”- Government High School Naguvanahalli, Srirangapatna

An extension activity was organized by the Department of Computer Science Staff and students  of St. Philomena‘s College. A college bus was arranged as a mode of  transport for both student and staff.  The group left the college at 1:00PM and the reached Government HighSchool, Naguvanahalli, Srirangapatna   at 1:30. PM.

The gathering was addressed by Mr. Manjunath , Department of Mathematics Government HighSchool, Naguvanahalli, Srirangapatna . Later on Models were exhibited to students of High School at 2.00PM .

 Models were prepared by BCA and B.Sc students. Models like hand sanitizer, smart stick , human following robot  etc.  were exhibited, explained and demonstrated to the students in a simple manner.

Charts Related to Functionality Of  Computer and its Applications Prepared by students of BSc(IV SEM) were Handed Over to the School For Their Future Use.

The session had total number of 150 participants including both faculties and students of St. Philomena‘s College with children and staff of government high school. It was a wonderful informative, enthusiastic, interactive session with active student participation. This Extension activity has created a technological environment and awareness about computer and its application .

The extension activity concluded with the felicitation of Incharge Head Mistress Ms. Lakshmi devi. The program ended by the vote of thanks proposed by our student Harinakshi Assistant Professor Department Of computer Science St. Philomena’s College Mysore .
