The PG Department of Chemistry congratulates and appreciates the UG and PG Chemistry students of St. Philomena’s College, Mysore, for successfully representing the college by conducting a Food Adulteration Awareness Programme at Mahajana’s Degree College, Mysore, on 13/03/2026, on the occasion of World Consumers Day.

The programme created awareness about the detection of common food adulterants and highlighted the importance of consumer safety and quality of food. The active involvement, scientific demonstration, and dedication shown by the students reflect their commitment towards social responsibility and application of chemical knowledge for the benefit of society.

The Department highly appreciates the sincere efforts of all the participating students and congratulates them for their excellent work and meaningful contribution.
