On February 19, 2026, the Cultural Committee ignited intellectual sparks with a thrilling English
Debate:
"Is AI Democratizing Artistic Expression or Destroying the Values of Traditional Skills?"
The event was a platform for students to showcase their critical thinking, research, and public
speaking skills. Participants from various courses presented compelling arguments, exploring
the dual impact of AI on creativity and tradition.
Key Highlights:
Lengthy Discussions:Speakers debated how AI tools like generative art and music software are
breaking barriers for aspiring artists versus concerns over the dilution of human touch and skill.
Expert Judges:Ms. Deepthy, Mr. Aravind Kispota, and Mr. Robin evaluated performances based
on logic, clarity, and impact.
Engaged Audience:Students from various streams both from UG and PG programs participated
with enthusiasm, making it interactive and insightful.
