Introduction
The Department of Environmental Science, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized the World Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2026, to create awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable living. The program aimed to remind students and faculty of their responsibility toward protecting the Earth and promoting eco-friendly practices.
The event began with a warm welcome and introduction, highlighting the importance of Earth Day as a global initiative to address pressing environmental issues such as pollution, climate change, deforestation, and biodiversity loss. The celebration emphasized that Earth provides essential resources like air, water, and food, and it is our duty to conserve them for future generations.
