Mysuru Literature Festival Participation

Subject: Report on Participation in the Hindi Session at the Two Day 10th Edition of the Mysuru Literature Festival (4^th and 5^th July 2026)

 Overview

This report details my participation as a panelist during the 10th edition of the Mysuru Literature Festival, held on July 4, 2026, at Hotel Southern Star, Mysuru. I had the honor of participating in a session titled “शब्दों के पार: कविता और जीवन का रिश्ता” (Beyond Words: The Relationship between Poetry and Life) alongside Se Dwarika Uniyal , Pro vice chancellor, RV university, Mysore and Actor, Academician,  Documentary Director and writer.

 Session Highlights

During the session, the discussion focused on  the literary works of Dr. Dwarika Uniyal, specifically his book Mere Aasaan Jhut.

Key aspects of our conversation included:

  Literary Exploration: We engaged in a detailed discussion regarding Dr. Uniyal’s famous poems, which expressively capture daily routines and emphasize their significance in our lives. Kala namak, har yug mein zinda hai raavan, mere aasan jhut and many were discussed with the audience.

  Closing Remarks: Dr. Poornima A.P. concluded the session by encouraging the audience to make the best use of the Literary Festival. She particularly highlighted the importance of literary engagement for the younger generation, urging them to actively participate in such festivals to gain exposure and foster a deeper appreciation for literature.

The session served as a meaningful platform to bridge the gap between poetry and lived experiences, resonating well with the gathered attendees.
