Blood Donation Camp 2019
A POWERFUL DONATION, BLOOD DONATION
As a gesture of saving lives, a blood donation camp was organised by National Service Scheme Unit, St. Philomena’s College, in collaboration with St. Joseph Hospital, Mysore on the 13th September 2019. The camp was inaugurated by Fr. Roxon Barus, the campus administrator, and Fr. Saji Augustine, Prof. of Department of French. In this camp, an overwhelming number of student and lecture volunteers of different department has participated.
The camp began by 9:30 am with a short inaugural function in the presence of Fr. Roxon Baros; Mr. Ronald Cutinha, IQAC Coordinator; Mr. Alphonsus D’Souza, Examination Controller; NSS Unit of St. Philomena’s College; Mr. Ravi, the Public Relation Officer of St. Joseph Hospital; B. S. Sudha, Executive Committee Member of Indian Red Cross, Mysore; M. Mahadevappa, Security of Indian Red Cross, Mysore District; Mr. Shreekar, Special Officer HDFC Bank, Saraswathi Branch. Around 100 – 150 donors were ready for the donation.
