1. Introduction
The PG & UG Department of Food Science and Nutrition, St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Mysore, in collaboration with the Nutrition Society of India – Mysore Chapter, organized a webinar on “Artificial Intelligence in Nutrition Practice: Automating Diet Planning, Client Engagement, and Business Workflow.”
The purpose of the webinar was to introduce students and faculty members to the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in nutrition and dietetics practice. In the present era of digital transformation, technology has become an integral component in healthcare delivery and nutrition counseling.
Artificial Intelligence offers innovative solutions that assist nutrition professionals in diet planning, data analysis, client monitoring, and efficient management of professional workflow. The webinar aimed to expose participants to emerging AI-driven tools and technologies that are reshaping modern nutrition practice.
The program witnessed active participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty members, and professionals interested in the intersection of nutrition and digital technology.
2. Objectives of the Webinar
The webinar was organized with the following objectives:

The program began with a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants.
The dignitaries present for the webinar included:

- Dr. C. Anitha, Associate Professor, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, KSOU, Mysuru and Convenor, Nutrition Society of India – Mysore Chapter
The formal welcome address was delivered by Dr. C. Anitha, who highlighted the importance of technological integration in the field of nutrition science. The technical session was delivered by Mr. Chaitanya Puri, CEO and Founder of Prim, who joined the webinar through the online platform.
