Objectives of the Programme:

- Community Engagement: Foster a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation among students and faculty.
- Skill Development: Equip participants with practical knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and environmental management systems.
Overview of the Event:
The “Awareness Programme on Green Initiatives” was a successful event organized by the IQAC and Green Cell of St. Philomena’s College on 22nd March 2024. The programme received enthusiastic participation from 50 attendees, including faculty members and students. The event was held at the Data Analysis Centre of the college.

Dr Helen Roselene, Lead Auditor ISO 14001, Head & Associate Professor, Department of Environmental Science, Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru.
Dr Helen Roselene, a distinguished expert in environmental science and sustainability, graced the event as the resource person. Her vast experience and knowledge provided invaluable insights into the various aspects of green initiatives and sustainable practices.
