Introduction
On March 27, 2026, the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru, organized an enlightening invited lecture titled “Own Your Idea: A Student’s Guide to Patents, Copyrights, and Trademarks.” The primary objective of this session was to heighten awareness among students regarding Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and their critical significance in both academic and professional spheres.
