Awareness Programme on HIV/AIDS by NSS
The National Service Scheme (NSS) organized a significant Awareness Programme on HIV/AIDS at St Philomena’s PU College Auditorium on 27th Feb, 2024. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Srirama, Medical Officer at Ashakirana Hospital, Mysore, who served as the Chief Guest for the occasion.
The programme commenced with a soulful Prayer Song performed by Richardson and Jeevan, setting a reflective tone for the event. This was followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the enlightenment brought forth by knowledge.
Priyanshu, in his role as the host, delivered a warm Welcome Address, extending greetings to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, and all participants. Hidayath then provided a comprehensive Introduction to the Chief Guest, highlighting Dr. Srirama’s notable contributions and expertise in the medical field.
