Book Fair
A book exhibition was hosted by the Department of Kannada, St.Philomena’s Degree College (Autonomous), Mysuru in coordination with the Dramatic/Literary Committee of the college, in the college premises from 28th August to 30th August 2017. The book fair was initiated by the Navakarnataka Publications, Mysuru, the reputed publishers and distributors of books, Mysuru.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Bernard P. Barnis, Rector and Manager of the college in the presence of Rev. Dr. M. Vincent, Principal, St. Philomena’s PU college, Sri N K Satyanarayana, Manager, Navakarnataka Publications, Mysuru and others.
The main purpose of this exhibition was to acquaint and familiarize the students of the college to inculcate and promote reading habits amongst the students.
