elocution competition
The elocution competition under the theme “Historical Events in August-2017” was conducted by the department of Humanities as part of student enrichment programme. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal of the College, Dr. RuthShanthKumari. Prof. MC Prabha(Rtd),Department of History, Prof.SujathaDevi, HOD, Dept of Economics and Prof.Sade Bose, HOD,Dept of Kannada, graced the occasion. Nearly 40 student participants from various streams like Humanities, Commerce, Science, Computer Science,etc took part in the competition. The topics for Elocution included:
1. Hiroshima Nagasaki Tragedies
2. Partition of India and its Effects
3. Quit India Movement
4. Krishnadevaraya of Vijayanagar Empire
5. Indian Independence Movement.
