Maintenance and Utilization of Physical, Academic, and Support Facilities

At our institution, we uphold a strong commitment to the optimal utilization and systematic maintenance of all physical, academic, and support facilities, including laboratories, libraries, sports complexes, computer systems, and classrooms. This approach ensures a well-maintained, safe, and conducive environment for academic excellence and holistic development.

Infrastructure and Facility Maintenance

General maintenance of the college infrastructure—including buildings, classrooms, and laboratories—is carried out by a dedicated team of skilled personnel, including plumbers, electricians, and carpenters, all working under the guidance of a facility supervisor. Garden upkeep is managed by an experienced team of gardeners who help maintain the aesthetic and ecological value of the campus.

Housekeeping services are outsourced to a professional agency. A housekeeping manager oversees the operations of a team responsible for daily sweeping, swabbing, and maintaining cleanliness across all academic and administrative blocks, twice a day.

Administrative Oversight

The daily functioning and upkeep of the campus infrastructure are diligently supervised by the Rector, Vice Rector, and Campus Administrator. Their combined efforts ensure that the campus remains safe, clean, and fully functional at all times.

Laboratory and Equipment Management

All laboratory equipment is insured and regularly serviced under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with trusted external service providers. These contracts are closely monitored and renewed periodically to ensure uninterrupted academic operations.

Utilities and General Amenities

Critical utilities such as elevators, air conditioners, CCTV surveillance systems, water purifiers, power generators, and UPS units are covered under AMCs and undergo regular inspection and maintenance. Waste management—including collection, segregation, and disposal—is efficiently handled by an internal team to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.

IT and Digital Infrastructure

Our IT infrastructure is managed by a team of qualified system administrators who are responsible for maintaining computer laboratories, the campus-wide network, and the official college website. Computers and related hardware are covered under AMCs with vendors to ensure timely servicing. All software used across the campus is properly licensed and routinely updated to stay current with technological advancements.

Sports Facilities Maintenance

The maintenance of our sports infrastructure is overseen by a team comprising the Physical Education Director, the Sports Secretary, and support staff. This includes regular care of the indoor stadium, outdoor fields, and multi-gym. Daily tasks such as watering and rolling of the grounds, de-weeding, and track preparation ensure that the sports facilities are always in top condition. A certified gym instructor manages and maintains the multi-gym facility for safe and effective use by students.

Library Maintenance and Management

Our college library is maintained in a clean and dust-free environment by the housekeeping team and support staff. Their responsibilities include regular mopping, sweeping, and dusting of furniture and books. A Library Committee, led by the Librarian, oversees the library’s day-to-day operations and infrastructure upkeep. Responsibilities such as maintaining the stock register, organizing books and journals, and updating the issue register are diligently carried out to ensure an efficient and student-friendly learning space
