
General Health Check-up and Specialized Eye Check-up Camp Report

The Youth Red Cross unit of St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous) organized a free General Health Check-up and Specialized Eye Check-up camp in collaboration with Lions Club Jeevadhara on March 15th at Sumanna Organisation, Mellahalli/Harohalli. The camp aimed to provide free health services to the local community, promoting health awareness and accessibility.
*Objectives:*
– To provide free general health check-ups and specialized eye check-ups to the local community.
– To promote health awareness and education among the participants.
– To foster community engagement and social responsibility among the youth.

The camp was a resounding success, with an overwhelming response from the local community. The outcome of the day’s events is summarized below:
– *Blood Group Tests:* 100 participants underwent blood group tests, providing them with essential information about their blood type.
– *Eye Check-ups:* 125 participants received specialized eye check-ups, with some being referred for further treatment.
– *General Health Check-ups:* 150 participants underwent general health check-ups, receiving vital information about their health status.
