We the faulty members and students of M.A. Economics went to watch budget session on 8-2-2019 at legislative assembly, VidhanSoudha, Banglore.We entered the hall by 12.15 pm and witnessed the budget session.
Our Honorable chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy presented the state budget for the financial year 2019-20. Only ruling party members were present in the session and the opposition party BJP walked out of the session. The total budget size is 2, 34,153 crores.

Rs 241 crore has been allocated towards SarvaShikshaAbhiyan.
An amount of Rs 10,936 crore has been allocated to panchayats for development of elementary education.

An amount of Rs 845 crore is allocated for crop insurance.

Rs 1,250 crore has been allocated towards the NammaGramaNammaRaste Scheme.
Rs 12,254 will be spent for the provision of assistance to electricity boards.
Rs 206 crore will be spent for the development of the North-West Karnataka Regional Transport Corporation.
