The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program is designed to provide postgraduate students with an in-depth education in various facets of computer technology. This two-year program is dedicated to offering advanced training in programming, algorithmic design, database administration and management, software development, web development, networking, and security. Candidate must have passed any recognized BCA /
Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree and
obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST
and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) in all the subjects for the duration of
the Degree from any recognized institute/ university.
OR
Candidates must have passed B.Sc. / B.Com / B.A. with Mathematics at 10 + 2
level or at Graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of
the concerned University) and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks
(45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates) in all
the subjects for the duration of the Degree from any recognized institute/
university.
Final year students can also apply on a provisional basis.
● All aspiring candidates are requested to apply online for the counselling.
The candidates are expected to write PGCET or KMAT and its score is
essential to complete the application form.
● Status of Candidates' application and selection to counselling will be
informed through mail.
Admission will be based on the score secured in the qualifying exam and their
performance in Personal Interview and Counselling.
