DEBATE COMPETITION

The NSS committee organised a Debate Competition on the topic “ Banning Tobacco – Government Duty Or Personal Choice” on  6^th November 2024 at 2.30 pm in the College Auditorium.

Around Eight students from various streams participated with great enthusiasm.The aim of organizing the debate competition was to spread awareness among the students on the consequences of tobacco consumption also its impact on passive smokers.

The competition also honed the students’ public speaking skills and taught them to articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The session was a kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts, and perspectives that enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the harmfulness of tobacco among the students.

3. Jithin Sebastian 5^th Sem BSW

 Cash Prizes were awarded by the NSS committee and distributed by the Judges Dr. Deepa V, Dr. Prakash Arulappa, and Mr. Anand C.

The programme was efficiently conducted by Ms. Roopa Selveria. J and Ms. Jenifer Priya. M with the assistance of Mr. Johnson Arul Raj NSS Co-Ordinator and Mr. KudureYallappa NSS Committee Member.
