NSS Orientation Programme for 1st B.Sc. Students
On 10th July 2025 at 10 am, the NSS Programme Officer,Mr. Johnson Arul Raj L, addressed the students of I B.Sc. in the college auditorium. The purpose of the session was to introduce the students to the activities and objectives of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and to encourage their active participation.
During the session, the NSS Officer spoke about the importance of social service, youth involvement in community development, and the role of NSS in shaping responsible citizens. Students were briefed on the various activities undertaken by the NSS unit, such as cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, awareness programs, and rural outreach initiatives.
The Officer motivated the students to join NSS and become part of a national movement that promotes service, discipline, and leadership. The session was informative and inspiring, and many students expressed interest in joining the NSS unit.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a call to action for students to register as volunteers and contribute meaningfully to society.
