One day Workshop On Android Applications

Department of Computer Science had organised a one day workshop on Android Application Development which was organized by the Department of Computer Science on June 20, 2018 at the college auditorium. Dr Mohan Kumar, H.P., Head of the Department, Department of MCA, PES(Autonomous) College of Engineering  , Mandya, was the resource person for the workshop.

Dr. Mohan Kumar concentrated on four areas of Android Application development such as Android architecture, Installation, Android studio and development of Android application. He also demonstrated the data storage in android.

Dr. Ruth Shanthakumari, Principal highlighted the importance of learning the latest technology in the current scenario and the speed in which the technology is growing every day and the need to upgrade the knowledge.

Mr. Vidhyadhar Sanjay Nair, Vice Principal; Prof. Rajalakshmi, Dean of Science, Prof. E. Gloriya Priyadarshini, Head of the department of Computer Scienc, faculty members of the Department of Computer Science, BCA and BSc students of St. Philomena’s College were present in the workshop.
