
REPORT ON REFILLING OF SANITARY PAD VENDING MACHINE
Youth Red Cross Unit – St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous), Mysore
The Youth Red Cross Unit of St. Philomena’s College (Autonomous) conducted the refilling of the Sanitary Pad Vending Machine on 14/11/2025 at 11:30 PM as part of its ongoing Health and Hygiene Initiative. The activity took place in the Ladies’ Lounge with the objective of ensuring continuous and easy access to sanitary napkins for female students and staff.
During the activity, Youth Red Cross volunteers inspected the vending machine, cleaned the exterior surface, and refilled it with new sanitary pads. The refilling ensured that the machine remained functional, fully stocked, and ready for immediate use. This initiative helps maintain menstrual hygiene on campus, supports students during emergencies, and promotes a healthy and supportive environment for women.
The refilling process was completed successfully, and the machine is now operating smoothly with adequate stock. The Youth Red Cross Unit will continue to monitor the vending machine regularly to ensure uninterrupted availability of sanitary pads as part of its commitment to student welfare.
