Report on Soft Skills Training Workshop for Non-Teaching Staff Members
Preamble
The importance of soft skills in the professional environment cannot be overstated, especially for non-teaching staff members who play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of educational institutions. To enhance these skills among our staff, a dedicated workshop was organized on the 3rd of February, 2024. This event aimed at equipping the participants with essential interpersonal and professional skills that would aid in improving their workplace interactions and efficiency.
Objectives
To enhance communication and interpersonal skills of non-teaching staff.
To foster teamwork and collaborative skills.
To improve problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
To boost overall professional behaviour and work ethics.
To provide tools for better time management and organizational skills.
Inauguration
The workshop commenced with an inauguration ceremony where Dr. Deepa V. inaugurated the event by watering a sapling, symbolizing growth and development. The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including the Principal, Vice Principal, IQAC Coordinator, Controller of Exam, UUCMS Coordinator, and MC.
Session Details
The training session was conducted by Mr. D. Parashivamurthy, a renowned soft skills trainer. His expertise in the field provided the participants with valuable insights and practical techniques to enhance their professional skills. The session was interactive, with various activities and discussions that engaged the participants and allowed them to practice new skills in real-time.
