Inauguration of Sports Activities for the Academic Year 2021 – 2022

St. Philomena’s (Autonomous) College, Mysore inaugurated the Sports Activities of the college for the Academic Year 2021 – 2022 on 01^st December 2021 at the Indoor Stadium. This event was inaugurated by Mrs. Esther Prasanna Bernard, the Pride of India and an International Skater. Mrs. Esther stressed the need of Sports and Physical Activity to have a healthy life. Prof. Vidhyadhar Sanjay Nair, the Vice Principal and the Sports Secretary under the guidance of Ms. Periyanayagammal, the Physical Director organised the event. Rev. Fr. Bernard Prakash Barnis, the Rector of the college blessed the event which was graced by Rev. Fr. Maria Xavier and Rev. Fr. Julian Vincent.

Dr. Alphonsus D’ Souza, the Principal of the college, Prof. Othbert Pinto, Director, Department of Post Graduate Studies and Mr. Prakash Cutinha, the IQAC coordinator were present.

The programme began with the Invocation song followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais.

The programme was well organized and arranged under the proficient leadership of the Ms. Peria Nanayagammal, the Physical Director of St. Philomena’s College.
