The PG Department of Chemistry appreciates the sincere efforts and active participation of the MSc Final Year Chemistry students of St. Philomena’s College, Mysore, for taking part in the Two-Day National Conference titled “Current Trends and Future Opportunities in Chemical Sciences” organized by the PG Department of Chemistry, JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Ooty Road, Mysore, held on 13th and 14th March 2026.
The students have successfully represented the institution by presenting their research work during the conference. Ms. Anagha Roy and Mr. Akash M. N. presented the Oral Presentation entitled “Heterocyclic Metal Complexes as a Promising Source for Plant Nutrition and Deficiency Treatments” under the guidance of Dr. Asha M. S., Associate Professor, and Ms. Keerthana, Mr. Mallikarjuna, and Mr. Mallesh presented the Poster Presentation entitled “Thiadiazole/Indole Hybrid With Phenoxy via Amide Link as Dual CoX and LoX Inhibitors” under the guidance of Dr. Zabiulla, Assistant Professor, PG Department of Chemistry. Their enthusiastic involvement, academic interest, and dedication towards research activities are highly commendable.
