National Level Event “Vigilante Carnival”
Subject: Participation and Achievement at the National Level Event “Vigilante Carnival”

It is with great pride and pleasure that we report the outstanding participation and remarkable achievement of our students from the Department of Criminology & Forensic Science in the National Level Event “Vigilante Carnival”, hosted by the Department of Criminology & Forensic Science, Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies, Bengaluru, on 19th and 20th May 2025.
A team of four enthusiastic and talented students from the 2nd Semester M.Sc. Criminology & Forensic Science represented our institution in this prestigious event. The participating students were:

- Mr. Arvind Raj
The two-day national carnival witnessed participation from several reputed colleges across the country. The event was designed to challenge and evaluate students on multiple aspects of criminological knowledge, forensic application, analytical thinking, public speaking, creativity, and teamwork.
Our students took part in various competitive and intellectually stimulating events including:
- Escape Saga – a crime scene escape simulation challenge,
- SpeakUp Sabha – a debate and public speaking forum on current criminal justice issues,
- Murder Mystery – an interactive crime-solving event,
- Alibi Auction – a strategic logic and alibi-building game,
- Brush of Hope – a creative art-based forensic theme competition,
- Runway to the Crime – a costume presentation based on crime scene profiling,
- Paper Trails: The Forensic Challenge – a document examination and evidence-tracing event,
- Tech Justice Code – a digital forensics and cybercrime investigation module,
- Mini Movie Mania – a short film competition with a criminological theme.
The team demonstrated exemplary performance, displaying both academic acumen and co-curricular versatility. Through their consistent efforts, analytical skills, creativity, and enthusiasm, the team secured top positions in several categories and ultimately emerged as the Overall Champions of the Vigilante Carnival 2025.
Their performance not only showcased their individual and team strengths but also brought immense pride to the department and institution. Such participation greatly contributes to the holistic development of students and strengthens the academic culture of practical learning, innovation, and collaboration.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the participating students for their commendable achievement and appreciate their representation of the department with such distinction. Their success serves as an inspiration for their peers and exemplifies the potential and quality nurtured by our academic programs.
