Description	Organized half day workshop on “ Entrepreneurial Thinking in Management Studies- Keys to Innovation”An Expert Speaker from the industry – Mr. Rakesh Babu, COO and Executive Director, Innomantra Consulting Private Ltd., Bangalore was invited to conduct a workshop. The workshop focused on: Concepts of innovation, management and entrepreneurship.Developing creative and analytical thinking skills.Enhancing Practical entrepreneurial knowledge and skills.Engaging students with activities related to Entrepreneurship based real life situations.Q&A session with the students about entrepreneurial activities and challenges of entrepreneurship in the global business space.
Speaker Details	Rakesh Babu K.L Rakesh Babu K.L, Director at Innomantra Consulting Private Limited, is a master innovation trainer with over 20 years of expertise in innovation management, entrepreneurship, and marketing. He has designed and delivered high-impact innovation engagement and training programs for numerous Global Fortune 500 companies, specializing in innovation tools, collaborative innovation, and leadership. As co-developer of the Functional Innovation Methodology—a structured approach to product, process, and business model innovation—he has trained over 2,000 innovators from 50+ leading global firms since 2011. His recent collaborations include ABB, NetApp, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Alcatel Lucent, BEL, Newell India, TE Connectivity, Bureau Veritas, and Larsen & Toubro, focusing on results-driven innovation initiatives. Rakesh leads the training division at Innomantra and has previously managed a consumer packaged goods business and served as Director at Marquess Financial Services. He holds a degree in Computer Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, and certifications from IDEO-U and Darden University’s design thinking programs. He is also an IBM-certified Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner. Actively engaged in professional networks, Rakesh is the Membership Vice-Chairman of TiE Mysuru, a long-standing member of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s IT panel, and an Associate Member of Rotary Mysore Midtown. He has chaired numerous events and is a sought-after speaker at various platforms and institutions.
