The 65^th Annual general body meeting of St.Philomena’s college held Alumni association was on Sunday 2^nd December 2018 in the college auditorium at 10:30 am. Three hundred members of Alumni association from far and near, including some of the first batch of students took part in this program. The occasion created a platform for the alumni to relive their past glorious memories during this grand reunion. Melodious music was rendered by two terms; A group of friends and doctors “Nauratans”, led by Dr.S.K Gori and Alfy , a renowned  performer of the city with his term. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed the music till 03:30 pm in the evening.

Rev.Fr.Vijay Kumar secretary of MDES, conveyed regards to all the alumni on behalf of His Excellency Dr. K .A. William, Bishop of Mysore and Msgr. Leslie Moras the Episcopal vicar.

Alumni association forms the strongest root of the institution which ably supports its growth. It is very inspiring to see all of you in todays’s function cherishing   your old memories and creating new ones, he added.

Dr.Ruth Shantha Kumari , principal and  president of alumni association , expressed her gratitude to all the members of the association for joining their hands to make this program a memorable one and also promised to have a global alumni meet by the year 2020-21 when the college will be celebrating its platinum jubilee.

Mr.Vasudev, one of the senior most members of the alumni association , suggested having a specific day every year to conduct the annual general body meeting. Nominations for the committee members took place and all the members of the association agreed to continue the same board till the next general body meeting.

Rev.Dr.Bernard Prakash Branis, Rector , Dr.Ruth Shantha Kumari, principal, Rev.Fr.Maria Xavier , vice rector, Rev.Fr.Rony Ravikumar, assistant director of PG, Prof.Sanjay Nair, vice Principal ,Rev.Fr.Antony Raj, warden of Boys’ hostel and executive board members were present in the meeting.
